How much does a deep cleaning or move-out cleaning cost?
A move-out cleaning of a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is listed at $350 with Kat’s Cleaning Services. A deep cleaning is priced like every other job: one flat rate for your home, set at the free walkthrough. Both depend on size and condition, and both can add the oven, the refrigerator or the garage.
For a national comparison, HomeGuide’s 2026 cost guide puts move-out cleaning at $150 to $500, or $0.15 to $0.25 per square foot, and notes that many companies bill $25 to $50 per hour for each cleaner. Kat’s flat rate means the number does not grow if the job runs long.
Moving out? You only need one of them.
A move-out cleaning is the deepest clean an empty home gets, so it replaces a deep cleaning rather than adding to it. A deep cleaning is for a home you are still living in, when it has gotten ahead of you or before recurring service starts.

What changes the price of a cleaning?
