How much does oven cleaning cost?
An oven deep cleaning with Kat’s team is $50, $75 or $100. Kat tells you which price applies when she sees the oven. Expect a lightly used oven toward the lower end and a heavily soiled one, or a set of double ovens, toward the top.
She once gave away an oven and stovetop deep cleaning in a summer contest and valued it at $100. In her words, transforming ovens is hard work and absolutely satisfying when done.
What does an oven deep cleaning involve?
The photos on this page show one real oven before and after. The racks come out and get scrubbed on their own. The interior walls and floor are worked until the baked-on grease lifts. The inside of the door glass is cleaned so you can see through it again, and the drawer underneath is pulled out and cleaned too, as one of Kat’s own job photos shows. Ask for the stovetop at the same time; her summer giveaway bundled the two.
It is slow work with harsh buildup, which is why it is priced on its own rather than folded into a regular visit.
When is it worth it?
- Before a move-out inspection, where the oven is one of the first things a landlord opens
- Before holiday cooking, when a smoking oven is the last thing you need
- After you move in, so the first meal does not carry the last owner’s grease
- Any time the oven smokes or smells when it heats up

Ovens differ a great deal in size and condition. Kat uses three price points, $50, $75 and $100, and tells you which one applies before the work begins.
Do you clean double ovens?
Yes. A move-in cleaning in August 2026 included a set of double ovens. Expect double ovens to sit toward the higher price point.
Is this oven repair?
No. It is a deep cleaning of the oven you already have. If the oven does not heat, smokes with nothing in it, or has a broken element, that is a job for an appliance technician.
